Cunningham Dancers perform for our school's Winter and Spring Dance Concerts which are part of our 234 Dance Program curriculum. Dance Company members also perform in these concerts with opportunity to perform outside of school within our community and beyond. Additional performances may be added as we continue to explore different ways to express the talents of our young dancers and choreographers! Below are videos/clips and images of performances from select concerts, showcases, and festivals.
End of Semester & Performance Themes:
Each semester there will be a final performance including collaborative class developed choreography. Themes and music are decided by Ms. Brown with input from the class. Emerging Choreographers Showcase: Open to 7th and 8th graders
7th and 8th grade dance students may fill out a proposal to create and perform work in our Annual Student Showcase. All work must be completed on the dancers' own time as this is a voluntary commitment and requires additional responsibility! Proposals must be completed and approved prior to being accepted. There will be a limit on time (1.5-3 min), pieces accepted (14), and the amount of pieces dancers can be in (2). Dancers may also perform in only one solo. See proposal form for more details.
